The best thing about being a travel agent is that I get to help clients plan trips to destinations all around the globe aboard a cruise ship. Whether you want to travel to the Bahamas or the Caribbean Islands, Hawaii or Europe, I am well-qualified to make the arrangements, so you'll have the best possible travel experience. 


I completed travel school in 1987, and worked for a time in California, but later moved to northern Virginia, where I have served as an enthusiastic travel agent ever since.


My goal is to send clients on their journeys filled with confidence and high expectations, knowing that all the details have been arranged, from booking the "right" cabin to knowing which are the best seasons to visit various locations. I work diligently to arrange the most direct and convenient transportation to and from a cruise port, and I can also coordinate sightseeing and pre- and post-cruise travel. Informed travelers are confident travelers, and I always share as much information as possible so that my clients are knowledgeable about all their options and contingencies.


Because there are a lot of details involved in planning and booking a cruise, I understand that my clients may not be aware of some of the "hiccups" that can occur. But, because I have firsthand experience with the myriad details of trip planning, I have the knowledge and expertise that makes working with both first-time travelers and experienced cruisers as pleasant as possible.


I want everyone to be sold on cruises, just as I am, not only because of the places they can go, but because of all the shipboard activities that exist to keep everyone entertained while at sea.

Complicated travel simplified
Always a pleasure. Prompt and efficient. I do alot of complex travelling for business and Sarah gets it right the first time every time.

Christmas Markets
Sarah is a wonderful, happy, knowledgeable travel agent! I love working with her. She makes planning a trip so easy for us., whether it's a european vacation with my husband or a summer vacation to Disney with the family. She thinks of everything we might need when traveling. I won't use anyone else to make my travel plans.

We travel the world with The Travel Place
With Sarah’s assistance, we’ve toured the world - Egypt, China, Europe, S.America, Southeast Asia, Australia, New Zealand, Israel & Jordan. Sarah makes all our arrangements and keeps us informed prior to & during our trip. One time our flight was cancelled due to weather & Sarah had already scheduled another flight before we knew about the cancellation. Sarah is an excellent travel agent! She is professional, always courteous, and very responsive to phone calls. My wife and I enjoy working with Sarah and appreciate everything that she does to make our trips successful.

Sarah, help! We want to go to..........!
Since about 2001 Sarah has taken care of the details involved for about 16 cruises for us, mainly in the Caribbean, but also one to Alaska and one to ports around the Baltic Sea. She has also put together two bus tours, one in the U.S. (Yellowstone, Mt. Rushmore, Utah, Grand Canyon and Las Vegas), and one around Ireland. We simply give her our desired destination and dates we want to travel, and she takes care of everything at no cost to us! Her services have included plane, ship, bus tours, and hotel reservations. The cruises included 3 for our entire family (9 people), so there was extra work involved with those. We always get travel insurance, and that saved us $6,000 one time when we had to cancel a trip to Europe for medical reasons less than a week before we were to begin. We are always welcome to stop by her office and chat about travel ideas. She has helped us a great deal since we first met her, and we will continue to work with her as we plan a major trip once a year.
